Vintage – Unpublished – 5×7 – Bettie Page – Camera Club Photo – Extremely Rare – 1950’s. The photos in that group all appeared to have been taken at a “camera club” of the period, most of the photos are of unknown models but mixed in with that group of photos were several Bettie Page photos, this is one of them. To this day I have never seen any published photos of Bettie in the setting that these photos were taken in. The print itself is gorgeous. It is printed on double weight fiber based paper with a beautiful satin finish. Except for a couple of very faint creases on the lower bottom corners that do not extend to the back of the print, some very faint silvering along the edges that is only visible when the print is turned at an angle, and the lite foxing on the back consistent with age, I would give this print a Mint – Near Mint Condition evaluation just to err on the side of caution. The image itself that goes without saying, it is one of the finest images of Bettie we have seen. Note the borders of the print appear much brighter in the actual photo than in the listing pic.
