1850s Ambrotype Family Portrait Photo in Original Frame. The family and photographer appear to be from Germany based on the information on back also stating. That the photo is of Theodor George Gleichman, Eduard Gleichman & Henriette Gleichman. The frame is wood with a hard black coating with gilt embellishments. Gilt mat sits on the photo surrounding the image. 7 3/4″ x 8 3/4″ frame. 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ sight. Condition – Flaking and spotting to photograph. Soiling to inside of glass.
