Hello and thank you for taking your time to view our listing. As shown the photo shows a man in a business suit outside the subway entrance after the first tower fell. If you notice in the background the second tower is still shown standing. Photograph is very large in size, measuring 24×28 inches. Photo is developed on Kodak chrome paper, and has a white border so can be matted and framed. From information gathered online, the photographer who took these, Patrick Witty was employed by the New York Times and living in New York City the day of the attack. There are numerous stories online accounting his journey around the city while the attack was in progress and capturing the moments on film. Further information online indicates Mr. Witty went on to work for National Geographic after leaving the Times. This is a true, one-of-a-kind, original photograph taken at the moment of the attack taking place. Some very unique items to notice in this photo is above the entrance to the subway you can see ad advertisement for the movie Training Day. That movie was scheduled to be released the next day, however was delayed and held up due to the attack. This is an amazing original photograph taken during an actual historic event. In our eyes this is equivalent to an original photo taken during the Pearl Harbor attack.
