PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY AND IN ITS ENTIRETY! So, please do not ask for a lower price. ALL my prices are fair because they HAVE to be. This is NOT my hobby. Because this is my livelihood, I have to sell items in a timely manner. On the rare occasions when I don’t, I will hear my wife say the following: Hey, Jerry, when are you going to make a deposit at the bank? Fortunately, it has not happened too often since 1985. If she is especially anxious, she will not use the word Jerry. She will use another word. I own 936 DIFFERENT Marilyn Monroe photos. Somebody has to do it. Some are rare; some are not. This is not nearly the rarest photo of Marilyn I own. But it is one of my 25 favorite photos of her. Now, having collected Marilyn memorabilia for many many years, I know that–like Yogi Berra–some of the quotes attributed to her are figments of some public relations person. The argument for making quotes up in Yogi Berra’s case was that Yogi could have said that. ” This particular quote of Marilyn’s–“I don’t mind living in a man’s world as long as I can be a woman in it–is not likely to have been uttered by her. At least, I never could find any documentation that she said it. Forget that for a moment. Look at the photo. At the time this was taken, probably around 1950–and I do not know the photographer–Marilyn was close to breaking through in Hollywood. So she saw a brighter future for herself. Lovingly custom framed by my favorite framer, this does show a playful Marilyn that is actually quite rare. Make no mistake, Marilyn–no dumb blonde–could be as ruthless as the movie tycoons who used her. Hey, her IQ was around 160. This beautiful black and white photo measures about 23″ x 27″ and is protected by sturdy plexiglass. This would make a great gift for someone who appreciates the enduring inner beauty of an American icon. The rules: 1 No discount. 3 If you have a question, please ask. THE PERSON WHO GETS THIS WILL LOVE IT. Comes with a wire on the back to easily affix to a wall. No one puts Marilyn in a corner, hidden away, or in a dark closet. 6 Please check out my other listings. I sell more than Marilyn. I specialize in framed and unframed photos, Beanie Babies and Beanie Boos, sports cards, and Pokemon cards and plush. Thanks for getting this far.
