“Candy Cigarette” is probably Sally Mann’s most sought after image. A 20 x24 example of this image in a New York Gallery will be priced over 20K. This image is a vintage print made by Ms. Mann and mailed like a post card to one of her dealers, a common practice in the early days of her career. As a result there are minor surface scratches and one area on the right border seems to show s bit of bending. These imperfections, to be expected by it’s being mailed. Could be fixed by a conservator. On the back is a long note to a dealer and an S’ autographed on the lower right. This is the ORIGINAL print not a copy.
