FAY WRAY was a Canadian-American actress most noted for playing the female lead in the 1933 film “KING KONG”. No one in the history of pictures could scream more dramatically than FAY WRAY, thus she earned the nickname, “QUEEN OF SCREAMS”. Through an acting career that spanned 57 years, FAY WRAY attained international renown as an actress in horror movie roles. After appearing in minor movie roles, she gained media attention being selected as one of the “WAMPAS Baby Stars” in 1926. This led to FAY WRAY being contracted to Paramount Pictures as a teenager, where she made more than a dozen movies. There are two very teeny black spots, one on her left arm and one close-by in the background, that does not detract from the beauty of the photo (see scan). Great Resolution and Focus.
