This was a recent find for me. They became known for their nature photography at first and then gained further notoriety for documenting the culture of the Tlingit and also for recording the Klondike Gold Rush. This rare image is presumed to be of a group of six miners. They definitely look a bit salty. From their expressions you can tell about half of them are pretty worn and beaten by what they experienced but a couple still have confident and hopeful looks. Quite a striking and rare image. It is in very good condition, very minimal wear, very presentable. It should make an excellent and unique addition to one’s collection.
