OLD VINTAGE ANTIQUE AMBROTYPE PHOTO BEAUTIFUL YOUNG SOUTHERN BELLE TEEN GIRL. Measures about 2 5/8″ x 3 1/8″ (a bit larger including the case). The tinted ambrotype shows some signs of age and wear along with a few superficial scratches, nicks, and tiny specks and or loose emulsion flakes. The image is translucent when viewed with the dark areas showing clear through to the black backing. The glass at certain angles shows signs of inclusions and small blistering spots in the emulsion, but I don’t feel it’s distracting. The frame and leather case show some signs of age and wear with the case spine hinge missing. A stunning epic image of a Southern Georgia Peach. What you see is what you get.
