Vintage Photo Album from Northern Ohio: 275+ pics, 1917 to 1920s w Captions! . This is a rare old photo album from Northern Ohio and its very special. This family had a wonderful sense of humor. They packed up the Model T and hit the road. Castalia Bridge, Toledo, Cedar Point, Walbridge Park, Sandusky, Cleveland, Lake Eries Big Island, Blue Hole, Camp Perry and so much more. This group of young people dressed up as Hawaiian Girls (the guys did), went swimming in Lake Erie wait till you see the swim suits! And generally had a good time when the guys came marching home from war. Its an extraordinary collection of snap shots. Some capture tragedy a train/auto crash that killed three; the scary the swinging bridge at cascuade (sic); and the strange people dressed up for the full moon and other dates. By the end of the photo album, the friends were growing up and had children but still loved to travel and have fun. About 12 by 7, 39 pages with photos on both sides. There are more than 275 pictures in this album, almost all are captioned. Youll see lots of different forms of transportation — railway cars, automobiles, bikes, boats, baby buggies, and horse-drawn carriages. The young people pose in front of signs they think are funny. Its a great lot of memories from Northern Ohio from about 1917 to early 1920s. There’s wear on the covers. The rope “binding” has given way but the pages are all there. It’s a great lot of photos AND you’ll be helping the hungry because a portion of the proceeds go to Feeding America, which runs food banks all over the US.
