These photos are beautifully shot and happen to be taken at a historical moment. Post WW2 much of europe was still in ruins you can see many photos of damaged buildings and rubble left behind by the combat. The photographer had an amazing eye for detail and finding beauty during a crazy time. You can really see this in the photos here.
