She is carrying a large pot on her head that looks like metal but it isn’t. They have a special way of smoothing the pottery. On the back of the photo they listed her as a Santa Clara Squaw. Her beaded necklaces, belt and other jewelry is so beautiful. The Santa Clara Indian Reservation is an Indian reservation in north-central New Mexico, United States. It is the homeland of a branch of the Pueblo people of Native Americans. The reservation lies on 76.73 sq miles of the southern Rio Arriba, northeastern Sandoval, and northern Santa Fe Counties.
