This is an authentic, (NOT a modern reprint) vintage 1966 silver gelatin photograph by the renown Czech photographer Jaromir Funke from a negative he made in 1940. This silver gelatin photograph was printed from the original negative in 1966 as part of a silver gelatin print portfolio issued in that year – it would frame up beautifully for display. NOTE: Unfortunately our computer scans simply cannot capture the complete beauty of these silver gelatin prints (although we try very hard to give an accurate approximation) – the full contrast range, subtle shades and detail are beyond the scanner’s rendering capability and therfor the scans in this listing do not do justice to the beauty of the actual print itself.
