This is a fabulous original 11×14 in. Double-weight PORTRAIT photo of movie star JOAN CRAWFORD. The photo was taken by Hollywood studio photographer GEORGE HURRELL (blind-stamped in lower right). I ssued as publicity by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studio in 1934. This is a vintage photograph, but it was likely printed circa the 1970’s when there was a revival of interest in Hurrell’s work. The photo shows a rare image of Joan Crawford that after a search of the internet, I could find no similar shot. The photo features a beautiful and dramatic portrait of Miss Crawford by Hollywood’s master photographer! This original satin-finish doubleweight photo is in FINE condition.
