Kept in a KODAK LIBRARY , this collection of approximately 275 photos appears to chronicle a tour from Northern California to Southern California. Most pages identify accompanying photos in white ink. Dates include the month and the year, 1934. On Redwood Highway One. Old Spanish Days Fiesta Santa Barbara Aug 1934. Long Beach from Rainbow Pier Aug 1934. High Waves Balboa Calif. Bridge on Highway Entering Riverside Calif. Photos range from the mountains to the desert, the sea and various architecture and landscapes. A great collection of earlier 20th Century California images. The Kodak Library (scrap book) measures 7-3/4 x 9-1/2 x 1-1/2. Most photos measure about 2 x 3. The majority of photos are loose from the page, but you can likely re-create the pages as they were. Most have fallen into the leaves of the page to which they belong. No photos or pages appear damaged other than the normal aging. The album is losing some of its binding on the outside, but it is 84 years old! A great addition to that California natives collection of earlier photos.
