Acquired from a very fine San Diego Estate, this Antique Vintage Victorian Photo Album contains 39 Family Photos, most with hand written family names. Pages are made of thick cardboard and heavy gold gilt edges that are beautifully embossed to create a stunning floral design. Cover is raised, embossed and decorated, and gold gilt lettering on spine. Ornate cover latch is intact and works perfectly. While i’m not an expert on dating old photos, it’s my best guess that these date to the 1800’s and consist of adults as well as children. A very nice assortment! Condition is very good for age. Normal, minor spotting, wear to cover, including wear around the edges. Spine is intact but separates partially when album is fully opened. Last page is partially detached from spine. Page edging, with embossed gold gilt, is in truly fine condition. Little to no loss of gold gilt and little to no damage (scratches or rubs) Please look over photos closely, using the zoom-in feature, as they are considered a part of the item’s description and can give the best description of the item’s condition.
